Stewart-Schafer was commissioned by J Brand to create a cool, city vibe in the New Museum for their collection's press event. Custom garment racks were created to look linear and light, while seven foot tall campaign images were printed on plexiglass panels, set in custom blackened steel bases and placed in front of floor-to-ceiling windows to be back lit and cast linear shadows. Using the architectural elements of the physical space, Stewart-Schafer gave the design of the presentation another dimension. A balance of grey and white, the only color in the space came from the collection and campaign images.
