Stewart-Schafer was commissioned by West Coast brand LOHO Bride to conceptualize, design, and produce their first retail store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Stewart-Schafer designed an open, airy, gallery space where brides could effortlessly browse the custom designed racks of dresses, and easily flow into one of the two private lounges with dressing rooms. Their services included everything from concept design through construction administration. Staying true to Loho Bride’s “California-cool” aesthetic, the design offers luxurious textures and materials against a neutral palette with clean, minimal lines. With custom fixtures, and furniture the raw space was transformed to complement the brand and create a glamourous yet seamless shopping experience.
